

Other than power or heat the only other culprit could be a shoddy card, If possible test it on a friends computer running the same game/benchmarks if it does the same thing then you know it's not your pc, it's the card. If you have a modular PSU, try plugging the gpu cable/s into a different port on the PSU, Try bottom rail. What are your system temps, Seems like what you describe is possibly heat or power related,More likely power. Are you also overclocking cpu by any chance?

Seems a bit weird, I run 2x980ti cards that are superclocked from factory, In Witcher 3 the temps get to 83-84c on auto fan and I have no crashes at all.
